CH Systems is made up of a team of specialists, proficient in different areas of the plumbing and commercial heating industries. The vast extent of our expertise capacitates the offer of a wide range of services that aim to assist in making your life easier. Some of our services include, but are not limited to, the following:

At CH Systems our gas engineers are highly trained and fully competent to work on a vast array of commercial gas installations. We offer a complete installation, commissioning and servicing/maintenance package.

Whether the project effects an existing retrofit installation or a new build site, we offer:

Commercial gas pipe work installation, strength testing, tightness testing and purging.
Associated pipe work installations and repairs.
Commercial gas boiler installation and commissioning.

Servicing & Maintenance

CH Systems offers a commercial gas appliance service and maintenance agreement with annual or bi-annual servicing and planned preventative maintenance tasks; all of which ensure the optimum performance and maximum efficiency of the boiler system, with the aim of reducing overall repair costs and ‘down-time’.

We can also provide commercial gas installation safety certificates/reports. CH Systems will carry out a thorough inspection of your entire gas installation, and provide you with a detailed gas installation safety report and certificate once the check is complete. We will also notify you of any remedial work that may be required.

Commercial Boiler Repairs / Commissioning

With a team of fully qualified commercial engineers, we are able to provide an excellent fault-finding diagnostic for your system and recommend, as well as undertake all repairs for your boiler or plant room equipment.

Depending on the size and complexity of your boiler system, our engineers will conduct an onsite visit to diagnose the problem and to assure that we get the right parts first time round in order to get your boiler back up and running as soon as possible.

Working to industry standards:

IGE/UP/1A – industrial and commercial gas pipework must comply with a volume of1m3, or below.

IGE/UP/1 – industrial and commercial gas pipework must comply with a volume of 1m3, or above.

Tightness Testing

Tightness testing is carried out on existing or new gas pipework installations to ensure that the industrial and commercial gas pipework is safe for use, or continued use, and will not be rendered a hazard or cause an unsafe situation.

It is important to note that even if the tightness test is satisfactory (the volume complies with industry standards), a smell of gas or presence of gas detected would fail the test, and necessitate the trace and repair of the apparent fault. To ensure your industrial and/or commercial gas installation pipework is monitored and maintained, and in compliance with the conditions set out in The Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998, we advise that all installation pipework be tested and inspected on an annual basis.

This can normally be carried out at the same time as your annual gas appliance service visit or as part of a gas safety check.

Purge and De-Commission

When carrying out a direct or indirect purge – air to gas or gas to air – our industrial and commercial gas engineers work to the highest industry standards, with maximum planning and supervision a priority.

Our team will implement all site precautions, which must be adhered to in order to certify a safe working environment for all parties involved.

When any gas pipework de-commission service is carried out, a consistently high level of expertise and workmanship is implemented. Safety and professionalism is paramount and consequently, all de-commissioned pipework is left purged to air.

CH Systems offers an all-encompassing service package, from pipework sizing to appliance connection and commissioning, or we can provide any of the aforementioned as a singular service, should you require.

We also offer scheduled or reactive out-of-hours and weekend services – as and when required, to suit your needs.

Commercial Gas Safety Checks / Certificates

Should you require a Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate (CP12), our expert gas engineers are qualified to check an ample selection of industrial and commercial appliances.

Landlord’s Gas Safety checks can be carried out alongside the annual servicing of your commercial gas appliances, or separately if required.

We will provide gas safety certificates for your records to keep you legal.

Ductwork & Ventilation Installation

Most commercial premises are heated, ventilated or air conditioned by what’s known as a ‘forced air system’ – a method of cooling the interior climate of a building, usually accomplished using ductwork.

The ducts (conduits/tubes) that convey either heated or cooled air from the furnace or air conditioner throughout the building, along with the actual furnace and air conditioning unit, are ordinarily thought of as the building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, which is essential when considering the design of a new structure or the utility of an existing structure.

Ductwork and ventilation installation are fundamental to the functionality of a building, commercial or other. Attending to HVAC systems by ensuring constant and efficient performance is vital to proper building maintenance, and the engineers at CH Systems are here to help!

With experience carrying out less extensive sub-contract ductwork and maintenance as well as large-scale ventilation installation and entire system design services, our team is qualified to meet the bespoke needs of your premises.

Professional air duct cleaning will entail an inspection of the ducts and the removal of any debris likeviruses, bacteria, mold, pollen and insects – all of which are common forms of ‘duct dirt’. We’re proficient in all types of ductwork, including: sheet metal, fire rated, coolduct and PVC, and also specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of systems.

As part of a typical ventilation installation we’ll implement a system that will remove stale air from the building and replace it with filtered, fresh air. Regular ventilation maintenance will ensure that your HVAC system is fully functioning; leaving rooms well ventilated and bacteria free.
